On 23rd September 2021, members of the Merrett Survey team attended the 2021 Tank Storage Association conference in Coventry, UK. After the cancellation of the 2020 event, it was refreshing to meet people in person again. During the event, we highlighted the specialist storage tank survey services that we provide with our own stand and invited many interested attendees in for industry discussions. In preparation for the annual event, we created a promotional video that centres around our storage tank surveying expertise, which we are delighted to share with you in this blog post.

This is not the first time that we have attended this conference to discuss our tank surveys. In 2019 the founder of Merrett Survey, Peter Merrett, attended the tank storage association conference in Coventry to discuss our the innovative methods and techniques we in this industry.

Prior To The 2021 Tank Storage Association

Before the day of the event arrived, we updated our branding for the storage tank surveys aspect of our business by undergoing a refresh of our logo and releasing our all new storage tank surveys website. Our banners, which were made especially for the event, detailed our oil and gas infrastructure services, applications of our wider services and examples of our storage tank survey work in various sectors around the globe. Here is a summary of what was mentioned on the ‘applications of our services’ banner:

• Construction progress monitoring
• Green surveying
• Coastal ports, harbours and loading facility surveys

The banners can be seen around the stand in the image below, as can the promotional video that features in this blog post above. On top of this, we also had brochures, branded pens and all new business cards made for the event and distributed those to guests of our stand throughout the duration of the event – a special thanks to Media Street who compiled the design and creation of these. We wanted to run a little giveaway at the event, so we brought along a special bottle of Dartmoor whisky and encouraged guests to enter by dropping a business card into the glass jar!
