Overseas Surveys

Merrett Survey Limited has completed overseas work on airports in Russia (Sakhalin), Grenada, Algeria and the Falkland Islands.

Surveying airports and airstrips of all sizes and in all conditions, including work on runways (new, plus overlays), taxiways, terminal buildings (new and re-design), drainage, navigation aids and obstacle surveys.

Surveys for development of ‘in airport’ commercial sites and access infrastructure. Outputs have included navigation obstacle reports, ‘standard’ topographical survey plans, sections and elevations, plus laser scanning for BIM modelling and asset management.

Airborne Lidar is an ideal method of survey for obstacle surveys (ETOD) and ground based laser scanning provides high accuracy for pavements – buildings, plant rooms, including complex baggage handling facilities.

GNSS is applied to generate WGS84 survey data – anywhere in the world. Learn more about our international experience and contact us if you require our airport survey services.
