Examples of our work include the terrestrial laser scanning of a power station to determine how to install new equipment ensuring clash avoidance. A 3D model of the power station was created from the scan data and delivered to engineering firms who carried out the FEED (Front End Engineering and Design) study. We can scan your plant or factory to ensure that retrofit design projects are carried out efficiently by reducing clashes and rework.
This can include refineries, process plant (oil and gas, chemical industry, cosmetics and more), power stations, mineral processing plant, storage tank sites and ports / quays and loading wharves. The laser scanning and 3D modelling can be extended to include ship’s engine rooms, building plant rooms MEP – (mechanical electrical and plumbing) and HVAC – (heating ventilation and air conditioning). Our experience includes working underground to scan airport plant rooms and baggage handling sites.
