BIM Survey At Clyde Tidal Weir

Merrett Survey laser scanned the Clyde Tidal Weir in May 2024 for Royal HaskoningDHV and produced a detailed BIM model of the structure for the engineers to use in designing a replacement tidal gate.

Our worldwide BIM surveys produce accurate site models and can include the surrounding real-world environments and are used by a wide range of disciplines, including BIM for civil engineering projects, BIM for Architecture, BIM for MEP, BIM for structural engineering and BIM for Construction.

They enable our clients to identify potential clashes or conflicts before construction work begins, they allow designers, architects and engineers to make informed decisions by having an accurate model. Through the utilisation of cutting-edge surveying technologies and digital modelling methodologies, our BIM surveys facilitate our clients’ ability to make well-informed decisions, foster improved collaboration, and optimise construction process efficiency altogether.
